The Word Process

The art of maximising the value of the words you have already written and making sure they are consistent, error-free and convey your particular message. It could be calendars, company brochures, newsletters or student dissertations. A fresh eye could make all the difference.

John has taught the trade but has also practised what he preaches, both journalistically and commercially. The printed word speaks volumes for your organisation.

Maybe you don't know where to start. John's journalistic experience will help in finding out what your message is and who the audience is you're trying to reach. His ability to tell your story in the best possible words could make all the difference.

He will come to you, discuss your needs and return with words which could add real value to your ideas. It's what the word process is all about.

John has worked in the community, television, radio, academia and new media. He has contacts, internet skills and the ability to knock on doors when needed. He has worked for Radio Scotland, Radio 4, Radio 5 and BBC TV and a range of blogs and websites. Politics, news, current affairs, local issues, charities, small businesses, music and the arts are all grist to his mill, but new challenges are always welcomed.

I am an Associate Member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders and former lecturer and current freelance broadcast journalist. Using those skills I am able to offer quotes based on your sample work, supplying drafts as we go and suggestions before deciding on a finished piece of work that cannot fail to impress your supervisor. All subjects considered.
